Elevated is spot on in my opinion -- we're working our way up to those settings, I only have 250# in each corner so far, and run 10.8 to keep the face firm. Need to get our engine issues figured out before I get more aggressive...
The 2419 has been working for us at 5000' -- I'm thinking about getting just a bit more though, because we do have some cavitating when pulling up (smooths out as soon as the Taps3 plates go into action).
And the comments above about depth are spot on -- our lake has gotten low for the season and it shows. When going around the lake, as soon as the reported depth on the gauge went below about 10.5', the wave got short and lost all push. As soon as the depth got back up to 11.5'+, it came back to normal. I was surprised just how visible the change was, you would have thought I had dumped all the ballast.
