    2010 Tige Z1 w/o Ballast...

Hey there folks, I'm new to the family here with my new-to-me 2010 Tige Z1. Love the boat and compromised on one with no factory ballast. My question is - what would you recommend for a bigger guy trying to surf (225#) -- and a family who loves to wakeboard. I'd like a clean install that's easy to use and doesn't destroy all my storage. What kind of options do you recommend and at what cost would I be looking?

Nah, not really. id say 9 of 10 upgrade the rear sacs from the factory ballast anyway. Id recommend a sac thats going to maximize the available locker space, including the under seat space along the sides. Like a custom L shaped sac thats going to hold in the neighborhood of 1200 lbs. For the under bow area, the Fly High W711 is ideal. Down side, it will, as you say, destroy all my storage. This will give you best surf setup. However, the sacs would be too large for boarding if filled more than 25%. (without adding more bow weight).

A setup thats more boarding friendly and would still yield a decent surf wave, and not take up under seat storage in main cabin, would be a pair of Fly High W719. They would hold about 800-900 each. Still would not want to fill then to capacity for boarding, without additional bow weight. This setup along with a suck-gate type surf apparatus might give you a solid setup.

PM me and we can talk about options and pricing.
