We have the 900 lb base ballast system in our R20. I'm looking to upgrade by adding bags in the lockers but noticed a label on each side that indicates the max weight in the locker is 80 lbs. Have others ran into this? Did you make any modifications before adding additional ballast? Does Tige add additional support at the factory if they install the surf ballast?

These stickers started popping up in 09 when tige went to a sub-floor ballast tank.
We've been putting large custom sacs in there since, with no issue. The sacs distribute the load very well as opposed to you just standing in the center of the locker

I upgraded from that ballast setup to one from chpthril. If you're looking to upgrade he can hook you up best!
I run a w005 bag in each locker which had a leg that extends and continues under the surfing side's seats. These are 900# bags when maxed and I've had zero problems.
