    2006 Tige 20v wakeboard setup

I can't seem to find anything on wakeboarding setups in the 20v. Im getting new bags for the boat and the guys at WakeMAKERS suggested two 1100lb sacs for the rear lockers 30x30x50 I think. And one 550lb bow sac to go under the seats (which I don't think will fit). With my experience with ballast in this boat it will bounce like crazy with that setup at 22mph if it will even get on top of the water with that much ballast in the rear. Any suggestions or numbers everyone else is running in their 20v will be helpful. I don't mind a triangle sac on top of the seats but I feel like the fly high 1000lb bag will not fit in the bow.

Here is what I do, it does take sometime to dial in and its constantly changing:
    1. Bow weight first, fill whatever you got at least 500# should do it. (run the boat to your preferred speed)
    2. While at speed find out which side is washed out, then flip the ballast switch to start filling that side till the wake cleans up on both sides then shut it off.
    3. Once someone gets out of the boat or moves spots it will change the wake, you may have to fill or drain on the fly to clean it up. Use TAPS to prevent porpoising and clean the lips a bit usually 2-3 will do it.

Keep an eye on your speed check against GPS if you have it. The 20V is very susceptible to weight placement, and these hulls do like stern weight, as long as you have a decent bow setup you will be fine. I have the Triangle 1000# on the way to my house now for this season and I plan to fill that thing as full as I can and maybe even put a 750# under that just for good measure to counter the Enzos 1500s# in the rear.
My life's journey is not ending up looking pretty, its sliding in broadside, used up, worn out, screaming "What a Ride"

Yeah good advice. I installed the stargazer GPS perfect pass last year. Here is the setup I think I'm going with, one sumo 675# sumo bow bag 800# sumo flat floor sac and two 650# sumo bags for the locker. Believe I'm going to have to upgrade props but there's nothing more fun than riding behind a slammed boat with a clean wake. My buddy has a G23 I ride a lot of weekends behind and coming back to my boat feels like riding behind a jetski with the setup I have now. What rope length do you find best behind your boat?

WOW! your going big on Ballast... prop would be first on the list after all that ballast as you said. I ride 1 to 2 off, depending on the load keep in mind I have only been running 500 up front, so that will change with new 1000# on the way. I am still running stock prop and only set the boat a few times for wakeboarding since I got it last summer. Mostly ride behind my buddies 00' 2100v no ballast and it's a huge stock wake super clean on both sides. Anyway, with the 20V I would be interested to see how it responds to that much weight. I would think the gap at 60ft wake to wake would be huge with that much weight, but then again if it's a stout 3 foot lip who cares about the gap your gonna fly. Trial and error, if it were me...I would go bow and that water bed in the center to start; then use the rear locker bags to clean up any washed out lips as needed for desired speed. PLEASE post pictures of the results! Good Luck

Yeah I'm pretty sure I'm the only one crazy enough to run almost 3000# of ballast in a 20v but I like big wakes and should throw some nice double ups too. Just paid the insurance on it I'm just ready to start the season!

              2006 Tige 20v wakeboard setup

I have two 750lb sacks I the rear and a 250 in each front locker. I usually fill both front sacks and one side rear. Play with taps but end up between 3-4 usually. This year I got a ronix wake shaper. The one that velcros on so u can fill both sides evenly. Excited to try it. No more list.

Here's s an ok pic. Gives you an idea.

600# in the rear locker and 500# in the bow. Don't surf much unless im either drunk or to beaten up to wakeboarding but the 20v will throw a nice wave

Hopefully we will get your Fuel pump situation figured out so you can have this view all summer.
