    2002 2000V Ballast set up

    Hey Everyone,

New here, just bought a 2002 2000V with 300 hours on it. Looking for some help on a simple ballast set up, problem is that I don't have access to the boat until spring to measure the compartments. Does anybody have experience with this boat? Looking to add 800lb sacs to the rear lockers (one in each) but I think that they might be too long. Just looking for a decent set up to start surfing when we pick up the boat in the spring and there are some slamming deals on this stuff right now.

    Thanks!

The best value sac for the rear locker, is going to be the Fly High W719 Jumbo surf. The next step up is going to be a custom that would allow you to maximize the space. For the bow, the W711 is the best fit. All these options can be manually filled or plumbed in.

If you have the 20v, the bow sac will not fit very well up front.

Nothing but a custom will fit well, or a 400 in the walkway.

Welcome to the site, X2 on the Jumbo V-Drive Sacs for the Rear H20Sk8er has the 02 2300 version, and he runs the exact setup that Chpthril suggested (he bought from Mike LOL). Great Surf wave, Great Wakeboard Wake. The bow sac is not a perfect custom fit as Mike suggested, but its not a sloppy fit either. I would concede to Chpthril on all ballast suggestions hands down he is the expert. I would however recommend either 400/750 sacs for when you have a light crew to put in the center next to the driver, that extra center weight really makes a difference in lengthening the wave unless you normally have 5-6 adults with you then its not needed, but with 2-3 people it will significantly help out.
My life's journey is not ending up looking pretty, its sliding in broadside, used up, worn out, screaming "What a Ride"

In the 20v it will barely fit in the compartment at all.

i ended up getting 2 800's for the rear from wake makers. Will probably get another 400 to try in different areas to see what works before I plumb it all in. I have some friends with a 20v and they are able to surf with no ballast and 4 -5 people in the boat so I figured we could get a decent wave without too much trouble
