I think the key to the speed discussion is that you need adequate weight at the higher speeds to make it right. I used to try faster, but wasn't impressed. Now, last weekend when I SLAMMED the boat the extra speed impressed me big time.

11.7 seemed awesome, but I am sure there will be more revelations.

How to make wake surf wave longer. 24v

This thread has got me thinking back to my last run. I remember my last run a few weeks ago that when during start-up the wake seemed to a lot of push way back but when the boat hits cruise at 11.2 it shortens. I never thought to go above 12 but will try it in a few weeks when I get back my sweetheart (my wife's nickname). I am close to getting the 360 wireless. I can do it with rope for recovery and was by accident but repeatable now. I also still can't seem to get air but I am using a heavy CWB tsunami. Not sure if it's me, the board but likely both. I just started a year ago and haven't had a chance to ride a nice custom board yet.

Figuring out all the timing and what you have to do to get that air takes a while. I'm finally starting to get there but still a lot to put together. It's almost like doing a squat but once you start to come up the wave you really have to use your arms and upper body to drive yourself up and suck your legs up to your chest. Emily Egate has a video on her Instagram that explains what she does to get air.
