Hi guys new to this I have a 2005 tige 24v. We been using 900 in rear locker on driver side. 540 sac stacked on top and 800 on bench seat. And only 250 under front. We all surf goofy. I'm 250 and can easily surf. But it's steep and not to long. Any advice I will try and add video thanks. If someone could tale me how to post video I could show ya

How to make wake surf wave longer. 24v

You need to revisit your weight distribution. 24v is large and needs large weight. Numerous folks around here have wicked 24v waves. Duffy and Stingreye come to mind as good examples. 24v likes huge bow weight to match the lockers and it sounds as if you do not have enough to lengthen the wave (1440 plus 800 on the seat and only 250 in front is not enough) Try switching your 540 and 250 sacs and see if that lengthens the wave a bit... but you will still want 1k or more in front I will bet. You do not mention your TAPS setting or speed but both have a significant effect. Should produce a pretty sick wave when dialed. Also, it has been my experience that multiple bags never come close to the same effect as one massive bag in the same space. You might consider a custom sac from Chpthrl. Edit: 10' of water is marginal at best for surfing... try for 20+ as it will have a big impact on the wave. Im sure a 24v owner will chime in with sage adviceLast edited by surfidaho; 09-22-2015, 02:31 AM.

That should be a good wave weight. Do you have access to a deeper part of the lake? 10' isn't helping you at all. I rock 1800+ surf side rear, plus 400 surf side rear lead, then 250 bow surf side and 100 lead in the nose.Build thread: http://www.tigeowners.com/forum/showthread.php?14787-Duffy-s-2005-24v-wakesurfing-mod-thread&highlight=duffys+24v

The first pic is on lake 80ft plus was just showing the wave on our local lake deepest part is 10ft. It's surf able. But not great. Ya I tried to put the 540 in front with 250 and it didn't seam to change much. We usally find best wave taps on 4to 5 and 10mph. Both pics are with only 3 two in boat and 1 surfing. I have noticed when I invite my buddy who is 300 plus he sits right in corner. And makes good wave lol. So I will try more in bow. So like I said it makes a monster wave just not to long. Thanks for you guys input. I think I will do 1100 in locker and 800 on seat and 800 or 1000 up front?

Can you explain the rear ballast again as in counting 2250 lbs in the rear surf corner and only 250 up front. If so, you need way more up front and more speed for sure. Adding some to the off side will also smooth the transition.Mikes Liquid Audio: Knowledge Experience Customer Service you can trust-KICKER WetSounds ACME props FlyHigh Custom Ballast Clarion LiquidLumens LEDs Roswell Wave Deflector And More

I have spent hours and hours dialing her in. I fill both bow sacs, they are v-drive sacs, but I have always guessed 250 in water in each. Then I have 100 in lead in the bow. So if I have a large crew I run both full and the lead, so roughly (huge guess) 600 in the bow. Then I run faster then most do while surfing. I personally like surfing at 12.2-12.5. Seems to work well for me and my 5 blade prop seems to hold that speed easily. I also only surf with 20+ of depth.Build thread: http://www.tigeowners.com/forum/showthread.php?14787-Duffy-s-2005-24v-wakesurfing-mod-thread&highlight=duffys+24v
