    06 tige 24ve Ballast setup?

Have a 06 tige 24ve. Don't care about a surf wave. Simply want a clean huge wakeboard wake. The bigger the better, but I don't want a white water lip. Ideas would be great, thanks.

put weight in it at a 60/40 ratio back/front ... If you have a dirty lip, speed up! If you cant get it to clean up, remove weight in the back until it does...

Also use your trim plate to mellow or make it peak to your liking. If I remember correctly I usually have my trim at about 3-4 for wakeboarding.

i used to use just 400 lb sacs in each locker and always got a really good wake that could be cleaned with TAPS or adjusting speed.

W707 750's in each rear locker, W711 IBS under the bow seats and another W707 750 in the walkway

400 lbs of lead plus the integrated bow sac up front. I would suggest an Enzo sac in each rear locker - might as well in case you ever decide to surf.

Fill the IBS full and the rear enzos at 1/2 - 3/4. Speed at 22.8 Taps at 3 or 4.

This set up gave me the best wake on my 22Ve. I have heard that the 24Ve requires a lot more weight, so you may be adding additional sacs in the walkway as chpthril suggested.

I'm wanting the absolute biggest wake I can get and still be clean without having to go over about 24mph. Always have issues with white water at lip of wake.

Wanting to add more ballasg but already have troubles with clean wake. Running 800 in now walkway, and 540's in rear, have even emptied rear sacs to get a good wake and I usually have a good wake with three people in the boat, but once j get 6+ people in it, it starts to white water on me. I can get one wake clean at a time but never can just have two perfect lips.

The cure for a washed lip is speed up or less ballast. if 24 is you max speed, then you would need to reduce ballast to get the clean lip back. Then you have it, the biggest cleanest wake @ 24.

But only running 1500 lbs of ballast usually, we should still be able to get a clean wake with that weight? If not, that sucks, but I've read many people on here saying they run Over 2500 lbs of ballast and still get a clean wake.

How is that weight split? The 24Ve seems to like to a 60% front 40% rear split.

Are you running your TAPS in the 3 - 4 range? Keep in mind that if you are on the paddle wheel, your speed may be off. When you think you are going 23, you may only be going 22. I had a similar issue on my 22Ve which is one of the reasons I went GPS.

Currently installing new gps hydrophase. However I have ridden behind many other boats and if anything our boat use to read slower than our actual speed. We have messed with taps on all settings. Im going to put 200-400 lbs of lead in the very front bow stoarge and see if that helps any by compensating for the extra people who typically sit in the back of the boat. I hope to get the wake figured out cause with the always messed up lip its very stressful.

As i posted in the other reply im going to try and get some lead in the front cause it seems as when people get in the boat they all sit in the back and gets too much weight in the back. I think the split was messed up.

Are you absolutely sure that the TAPS plate is working? Is it bent or anything? Do you have any pics of the wake?

Are you running the stock Acme 537 prop?
