Ballast help on a 2007 22ve for wakesurfing

I am needing input on ballast setup for my 07 22ve for wakesurfing. I am and have been a slalom skier for yrs but am getting older and need to slow down so am wanting to get into wakesurfing. I have read many posts on here and other sites about ballast setup but not very many were actually in a 22ve like mine. If anyone has pics info pricing etc on this i would greatly appreciate any input. also any suggestions on boards?

A single 900 lb sac in the back locker and that boat will produce a very nice wave. Going with a custom 1200 lb sac and 400+ up front under the bow seats will take it to the next level and is a very popular setup. If you typically have a small crew, another 400 lb sac in seat along the surf side is a bonus. Price for the a complete ballast system is going to depend on what sacs and how many you go with and what type of pumps are chosen. Also, search out "RZ2 Ballast". those boats are virtually the same in side and out in terms of overall size, locker size and surf wake produced.

Congrats on your boat and welcome to the site. There are a number of us 22VE owners that did installs a year or two ago. I will see what I can find for you.

I had the surf ballast to begin with and upgraded the rear to chp's "enzo" style sac and an extra fill/drain pump and 1" hoses. it's under 5 to fill and drain now.
wake is awesome with 6 in the boat, but when there's only 3, I still feel like an additional 4-600lbs would be the ticket on the rear seat.

I have stock on the goofy side and it's a lame wake right now. need to order a 1000 to plumb in on that side. stupid cooler is in the way under the seat so "enzo" style on that side doesn't make sense to me.

congrats on the purchase. you'll love the boat..

Here is the link to my ballast project. My boat had the factory 250 lb tanks and I kept them in place. The boat makes a great wake on either side.
