    Ballast for 2002 20i?

I just bought a 2002 20i. Great boat and very happy. I want to wake surf and need to ballast it up. And ideas? Looks like a sac on the floor behind the motor and one surf side may work, but I'm a novice. Any tips would be helpful.

I'm a novice too, but I just bought a bag for the transom compartment and two 550lb bags for the floor by the motor and front to start with. To start feeling it out, just by a couple bags and go from there....thats what we are doing. NickyPoo has an awesome thread of his ballast installation if you want to get serious...

Clean boat man - welcome to the Tige family.

Great! Thanks. I'm gonna fly 2 550 lb sacs this w/e and will see what I can make happen. I'll post pics of the wake I make and the config if I don't sink the boat.

The 2 550s will be a good start. Put one on motor side and the other between motor and seat so an L shape. You will prob need weight in bow just 1 person put the rest of people on rear seat and possibly 1 on observer seat as well. TAPs 8-6. Just have to try weight combos/TAPs setting see what works best. If sounds like getting lot of cavitation it's prob more air getting to the prop vs cavitation. So add more bow weight/TAPs setting.

Interior looks very clean and I like the color combos. Good luck and take some wake pics
