    factory front sac

My factory front sac leaks like a SOB is this normal out of the soft sacs? I have had it back to dealer to get it looked at and still anytime you fill the front sac the carpet throughout whole boat gets soaked. It has the quick connect fittings so not sure how you could just better seal it..

    Thanks David

No, its not normal for them to leak. Has your dealer actually filled it with water and looked for the leak?

It will be easy to fix once its located. It could only be the oring on the sac valve fitting that seals against the sac, the oring that seals against the female side of the quick-conn, hose clamp, hole in hose or cracked drain pump or hole in sac.

I had the same issue . It was a oring they replaced it a dealer . Also the timer on the fill time was set to long and was over filling sac causing it to leak at the overflow. You can go into settings on tigue touch and change fill times. My screen was showing sac half full when I would look at sac it was about to bust. Hope this helps.

I am getting ready to mount my amps mike and didn't want a streamer spraying on the amps. I do not have tige touch on my boat I always fill the front sac until it runs out of the vent I would assume that is a good way to know it is full The more the merrier on front weight so I always try and fill them. I will just have to put it in the water and see where it is comming from.

Water purging from the vent is not a leak, but operating as intended, so you are doing like you should, Dave. If you have a fake-a-lake, put it up to the bow fill pump and fill the sac and hunt for the leak. May take doing it on both bow sac until you find the side that leaks.

The bow sac is connected right mike? Both sides are wet I think I might have a o-ring problem... I only live about 3 min from the boat ramp I have been hunting a good excuse to go and try these 80 deg days out.... Think I might put it in the water after work and see if I can find it. I am getting the itch to install all of the stereo equipment!!
