I ordered the plug and play kit for my 2006 24ve and have it installed now. I cross vented the sack so it doesn't spill out the Enzo side. I couldn't get the sack completely filled because of the water pressure build up on the factory drain pump located at the rear / bottom of the sack. As I tried filling it, water was coming out the drain hole and running through the drain pump as it was turned off. Any suggestions? I was able to get it 3/4 of the way full.

With the taller sacs, like the W712 Enzo or our custom sacs, passive draining through the drain line is a common occurrence. A couple of options, 1) cross the drain hose across the boat, same as the vent. When we build a ballast kit for a customer, we will typically T the vent and drain together, so theres just one long hose running across the stern. Since you already have the vents crossed, you could T the drain line into them and save some hose. 2) something new ive been trying is to use a thru-hull with a 90* elbow. With the elbow turned up, it allows for the drain hose to be routed up high in the gunnwale before turning back down to the thru-hull. This creates a drain trap effect by getting the loop higher then the sac. This retain the drain hose on the same side of the boat, but requires changing the thru-hull.Mikes Liquid Audio: Knowledge Experience Customer Service you can trust-KICKER WetSounds ACME props FlyHigh Custom Ballast Clarion LiquidLumens LEDs Roswell Wave Deflector And More
