    2012 R20 BALLAST

    Hi all,
I have a 2012 r20 with stock ballast(2 250lb hard tanks in rear and a 400lb. horseshoe in front) I'm looking to put a sack in the rear v drive locker. i was wondering if the 'fly high pro series fat sac model W707' would be a good choice. i know it's a little too big, but i hear that they form to the area they're in.
i'm concerned about the pressure it would put on the wall that separates the motor to the locker. any advice would be much appericiated.

    Glides,

I would not worry too much about the engine divider. The worst ive seen on a Tige was the plastic U chnl that holds the bottom of the divider would allow the divider to pop out. I cant recall what the R20 divider uses. If needed, a section of aluminum angle iron will reinforce the plastic U chnl.

As long as the sac it allowed to vent when filling and not balloon out under pressure, the sac will mold itself to the compartment space.

thanks for the quick response chpthril. so i guess i will go with the 750lb sac. i see a package deal with a tsunami pump for $250 at wakemakers. seems like a decent price; unless there are any better sacs anyone knows about.

Chp is right. I've had many different size sacs in the lockers of my R20 with no problems whatsoever. Looks like he's going to take care of your needs, he's the "go to" guy.
