that's alcohol abuse.. drink it in my honor

it was 29hrs in a uhaul with 2 dogs, how do you think it went. moving into the new digs on saturday. hoping the snow is gone quickly for the maiden voyage here of the new ballast and stereo system. the boat is still sleeping under the towing tarp I had put on. haven't even seen the new graphics yet. they installed them and put the shipping cover on the same day. excited to say the least..

Ok gang. The install is done and I am almost done with the stereo upgrades. Hopefully I will be water testing and taking pics soon. We have had a rough 2 months. We sold our house and then found out we couldn't close on our new house until next week. So we have been living in the mountains at our family cabin. Great scenery but the hour and a half drive makes it not as fun. Needless to say working on the boat took a back seat.

bout time you get that baby finished...
no room to talk here tho. boat looks good in the garage and has not had a single hour on it yet. moving and trying to get settled into the new place has taken all our time..
have you hooked up with sue yet? she'll give ya a pull anytime

Scott, how's the land of cheese and corn? I have talked to sue a couple times. She is always ready to go but living in Pville has made it challenging. We close on the new house Wed and hopefully can return to normalish after that. I wanted to get water test done before it gets crazy in July but not gonna happen. Your missing out on a wonderfully low water year. The peak is at 98% but arrowrock is already down to 60% and Anderson is at something like 70

FINALLY, got to take the boat out and test pumps and bags. Everything went well and the system operated flawless. Thanks again to chpthrll (Mike). Only issue that we seem to have is when I fill starboard ballast full the prop seems to loose bite. Rpms spin up and pp goes nuts. Soon as we dump weight it's fine. Wondering if we need more weight in the bow or counter weight on port side? Any opinions or experience would be appreciated.

So we finally got to go and fill all the ballast and play with the wave. Sorry no pics, phone died. Some observations. We had about 1000lbs in the front and about 1100 in the back. Wave was huge but very little push. Do I need to put more weight in the back? Any other suggestions?

more weight in rear/up surfside would be my guess. I ran more than that in the supra and it was 3ft shorter than your boat. I have mike's 1100 and a hardtank in the rear and need more weight when it's a small crew.

Hey its my midwest cousin. How's WI treating you? Had your mom and mine over to the new house the other day. I tried to put more weight in the back but the wif was uncomfortable driving it with that much lean. Gotta get her used it. Somehow I ended up with all three of those bags you let me use. I thought I only kept 1? If you need them back we can work something out. I need to hook up with Joe and Sue. We have just been crazy busy between work and the new house.

don't worry about the bags. it's all good. call sue/joe or greg. either of them will have no issues driving boat loaded. I would think you need another 6-800lbs in that back corner, either people or water. best wave in my tige was the 1000/tank loaded up, just the 400 pro ballast in the nose and 4 people on the surfside with a driver(5 total). not sure if you ever got any lead from joe but that might help a bit both with surfwave and with wakeboard wave to keep fromhaving to fill up so much water. will make your slalom wave worse, but I know you didn't buy that boat for waterskiing

To help with the prop sucking air, try to add 3-4 hun in off surf side sac. For the wave, I would start with only 2-3 hun in the bow and then add from there if needed.

haven't been in touch with joe\sue. I need to get ahold of them though. Talked to your sis\greg last week. Sounds like they are pretty busy but really want to get out with us. I am hoping that they can teach Nat how to drive. I am not the best teacher. I definitely didn't buy my battleship to ski behind.

Mike, thanks for the advice. I found it easier to convince mrs. daho to be regular footed! Seriously though, everything I bought from you has worked awesome. Thank you again.
