W719 Fly High Sac placement suggestions

Hey guys, i just bought 2 W719 - 1100# sacs from bluebomb and haven't had a chance to try em out yet. they were sitting at the UPS center 10 miles from my house in Houston all labor day weekend and they said i couldnt pick them up. go figure.

Anyway i know most people just throw them in the rear lockers. I know they wont fill completely in the lockers, so am curious if completely filling them in the seats or floorboard gives enough additional wake to justify the lost seating

If anyone has done any experimenting and rearranging to see what the 22ve likes best please share.

Please share ideas for both surfing and wakeboarding. For boarding should I just run them both parallel with the boat in floor or would it be better to run them perpendicular to the boat, ie one across the back seat, the other port to starboard on the floor, or should I make a "T" with one in the back seat, one running the length of the floor.

For surfing, you will want to place one in the rear locker on your surf side. It will net you about 800-900 lbs. This will give you a better wake then a fully filled sac further forward in the boat. That sac is 24W x 24H, so its not going to be easy to get one to stay up on the seats when filled.

Speed 10.5 and TAPS @ 3-4 will be a good place to start. That boat will produce a good wake with just rear corner weight. Adding bow weight will lengthen the surf pocket, but so will a little speed.

Glad you got them. We just stuck one in each rear compartment and filled it to the brim. You should get a pretty good wave with lots of push. Play around with your TAPS to lengthen or shorten (and consequently shorten or heighten) the wave and see what you like. Speed around 10-11 mph, again try and find your personal preference. Other considerations are people placement. We liked most everybody on the surf side and a couple people in the bow on surf side.

I shoulda paid for the express shipping. it wouldnt have been so bad if they were still on the road until tuesday when they showed up but they sat at a shipping center from Friday until tuesday. So all weekend while i was out on the boat all i could think about was how much better it would have been if UPS would just let me drive over and pick them up. I headed offshore tuesday for work so havent even opened the box yet... getting anxious!

By the way, I wanna give a shout to chpthril. He's the man when it comes to this stuff and has helped me out a bunch. If you have questions or need any gear, check him out.

Sorry about the shipping. Wish it would have worked out better. Unlike Ohio, you should still have some good riding weather for a while though.
