2007 22 Ve Ballast

I decided to leave my install in the hands of someone far more experienced than me. Last weekend I dropped my boat off at Mike's shop and here are some of the pictures he has sent me. Can't wait to get her on the water....

I believe it was a 1200 on the port and 1000 on the starboard...I am not sure what setup Mike had...he took those pics during the water test...I went with the individual sacs upfront..I don't pick the boat back up until Saturday then heading straight to the lake...

You have the same ballast level indicators that I do when the cup holders pop out they are full

I did take some additional pics as fallows: Rear ballast only, rear ballast and surf side bow and then rear sac and both bow sacs filled. I maintained the same speed and TAPS through out the 3 pics. need to double check which ones they are, upload them to P/B and post here.

The rear sacs are our Gen-2 custom surf sacs. Port is estimated at 1200 and the starboard is 1000+.

The rears are filled and drained with 2 pairs of the Attwood T1200 pumps with the new 1" inlet. The bow setup is filled and drained with 2 pairs of T800 pumps.

Vent/drain lines are crossed over the stern.

We also replaced the original and toasted bilge pump and added a 2nd. The new ones are 600GPH and the old one was 500 GPH. They are run in parallel electrically and share the same outlet.

Just wanted to give an update on the ballast install. Been playing around with setups all weekend and here is a short video. I am surprised that the swim platform is not causing an issue. Should be getting some more video today....http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FlnF8UP2V2Y

Got a full day on the lake last Sunday and changed the setup with some solicited help from Majestic. He suggest dumping the front weight and speed up. So just ran the rear sac only and speed at 10.5 and what a change. This is the first time I have been able to ride this long without the rope on the slow CWB ride. This video was taken at the beginning of the day and by the end I could stay on the wave as long as I wanted. Had a blast....Thanks for the advice Majestic
