        Hi Jon-

Thanks for your time on the phone yesterday. Like we talked about, a conventional setup would be a three bag system with one in each rear locker and one in the bow. That would give you the ability to get a very good wakeboard wake out of the boat, as well as a solid surf wake.

If you're not as concerned with wakeboarding just running a bag in each rear locker, along with one that can be used on the seats (the 20V has a relatively small storage area under the port seats) is a good solution. Your boat isn't as sensitive to bow weight for surfing, so that setup should perform quite well.

Depending on how many are in the boat, be careful with the 1100 lbs in that boat. We can get our rail touching the water with 4-5 people and a 400 lb sack. I would like to go to the 750 just to make it easier. Our boats are not as sensative to weight in the front. We never put more than one in the front when surfing (unless we have an over abundance of peeps.) You can make a great wave with lots of push with that hull. We ride at 11-11.5 with the taps at 4-5, but every set up is different. Good luck and have fun with it.

I am curious about this as well with a 21v. What do you find is the best set up in your boat for wakeboarding? I have a 450lb sac in each of the rear lockers and that is all I have right now. I haven't been able to play with it yet, but I hear lots of talk about the wash that is created with too much weight on this model.

We have never used ballast for wakeboarding and always had a very good wake. Most riders that come from other brands cannot believe the wake we put out with no ballast. We just started surfing last year so have not had too much time or money to play with ballast. Just have one 400 that we move from side to side. Fiveflat has his dialed in really well, maybe he will chime in or you can pm him for suggestions. Playing around with dialing it in is half the fun. I know this hull is capable of producing a great wave.

I have a 99 21v riders, and I run 1850lbs with 2-4 people in the boat with taps at 7. The wake is tall and has good push, but needs to be longer. I run one 750 in the rear locker,350 under the port side seat,650 U shape bow sac (really only get about 400lbs out of it) and a 350 in the front walk way. I still have room before the rub rail is touching, so I might add more weight.

Here is a pic of the surf wake.
