For me the better looking one is the one that I drilled from the front. The carpet is much cleaner looking. I used a 1 3/8" hole saw to cut the holes. I am wondering if it would have been better to go a little bigger to allow the quick connect to slip further back into the divider.
The install is looking great!

Worked on wiring the switches and installing the switches. The two hardest parts of this project have been cutting the holes for the switches and tighten the thru hulls for the fill pumps. I will note that I installed 4 switches to mimic the factory setup and if I end up wanting the front ballast done I am part way there.
I did most of the mock up out of the boat. I made a template out of cardboard.Attached Files- IMAG0313.jpg (48.7 KB, 448 views)

I had a minor set back. In using the switches that I did I had to get a diode so that the light would light up when the pumps were on. Both pumps go to the same light since the other light is for the Nav lights. The diode essentially acts as a check valve. Here are a couple of pics. The diode is under the black heat shrink.
Now I just need to get labels for the switches and water test.

The Carling switch and actuator are both very common, I just use the DPDT switch because it can be used for both aerator and reversible pumps. It keeps me from stocking 2 different models. I can get those same actuators, but they are custom labeled for Tige and mine would be blank.
I've never had anyone want to illuminate the ballast switch while the NAV lights are on, so ive never investigated the schematic.Mikes Liquid Audio: Knowledge Experience Customer Service you can trust-KICKER WetSounds ACME props FlyHigh Custom Ballast Clarion LiquidLumens LEDs Roswell Wave Deflector And More

This was an improvement that was well worth it. Now we can flip a switch and get ready without having to mess with any sacs and pumps. We have actually been using the ballast to wakeboard as well now. I still need to test adding ballast in the front. If I see an improvement then this winter I will put my two v drive sacs in under the bow. That shouldn't be very hard since I have the switches in place ready to go.
Overall was not that bad of a job to do.

Edit - I was looking at the pics of your drain pumps location earlier. The pics didn't show up on the "quote".Mods: MLA BIG Ballast System (1800+ Custom sacs, 2 500 W705 sacs under bow), Duffy Surf Flap Mod, Trimmed Swim Deck, Top-Mount Starter
