Ive stacked 2 manually filled 400's in one locker, but never done one on top of a plumbed it sac. As long as neither sac is filled tight as tick, then o dont see it being to much. The top sac will be about 350 lbs and should just push the top fittings of the bottom sac down and mold around them.
perfect, i was planning on manually filling them, thanks for the input guys
One thing that I found in drilling the holes through the rear divider. The first one I cut from the backside. I cut the carpet in a X so that I could tuck the carpet in the hole making it look nice. The second one I drilled from the front just drilling through the carpet. For me the better looking one is the one that I drilled from the front. The carpet is much cleaner looking. I used a 1 3/8" hole saw to cut the holes. I am wondering if it would have been better to go a little bigger to allow the quick connect to slip further back into the divider.
I did mine the same way and thought the same thing at first but it works fine. I have had no issues with it and no problems with removing the sac.
Worked on wiring the switches and installing the switches. The two hardest parts of this project have been cutting the holes for the switches and tighten the thru hulls for the fill pumps. I will note that I installed 4 switches to mimic the factory setup and if I end up wanting the front ballast done I am part way there.
I did most of the mock up out of the boat. I made a template out of cardboard.
Looking good!!! You're in the home stretch! For the thru-hulls, mine had those little grooves in them so I took a piece of 1x2 and filed/sawed/sanded it down to fit in the grooves and then tightened them up. Sorry that I didn't know you were having problems sooner!
I had a minor set back. In using the switches that I did I had to get a diode so that the light would light up when the pumps were on. Both pumps go to the same light since the other light is for the Nav lights. The diode essentially acts as a check valve. Here are a couple of pics. The diode is under the black heat shrink.
Now I just need to get labels for the switches and water test.
I didn't have to go through any hoops to get mine to light up when the pumps are on. I started thinking about it and I don't think they light up with the Nav lights though.
Your's look like these ones. I could have not used the Nav lights and lit the top square with filling and the bottom bar with emptying without any issue. But I wanted them to look and act like the factory switches.
The Carling switch and actuator are both very common, I just use the DPDT switch because it can be used for both aerator and reversible pumps. It keeps me from stocking 2 different models. I can get those same actuators, but they are custom labeled for Tige and mine would be blank.
I've never had anyone want to illuminate the ballast switch while the NAV lights are on, so ive never investigated the schematic.

Looks good skippa. I wired mine the same for the same reason I wanted factory style switches that functioned the same as factory. The square led on top lights up with nav lights and the slotted led at the bottom lights up when the switch is on in either position.
This was an improvement that was well worth it. Now we can flip a switch and get ready without having to mess with any sacs and pumps. We have actually been using the ballast to wakeboard as well now. I still need to test adding ballast in the front. If I see an improvement then this winter I will put my two v drive sacs in under the bow. That shouldn't be very hard since I have the switches in place ready to go.
Worked on putting the hose in the boat today. I still need to put the collars on and get the ends done.
Skippabcool, Have you been happy with your drain pumps located there? That's the transom corners right? I have two batteries in my port locker and it would be nice to route it to the corner if it still works well. My starboard has another battery and the shower so your placement looks ideal for me.
Edit - I was looking at the pics of your drain pumps location earlier. The pics didn't show up on the "quote".
