                    Started the hoses, but not going to get far tonight, other commitments.

                    You can over heat the hose. It didn't pop until after I had it on the fitting.

                          There tend to be a lot of friction between the rubber and barbed fittings when dry. Also, you'll know when its too hot, the hose will start to blister and gets limp.
