Post some pics of the factory tanks. I would remove them and just install sacs. The enzo sac fits pretty well and won't over load the boat. Or you can go custom and get an even better wave out of it. Why do you need to pull the fuel tank cover?

The pupmps are on a common manifold that is tucked under the V-Drive. I needed to access the wiring to trouble shoot the electrctrical. I was hoping to keep the factory system, but maybe other sacs would be a better way to go. Just getting started, and surfing is way too addictive to have a weak wake!!!

Can you hear the pump running? You can keep the tank in, but most people don't. There are most likely very small 200-400 pounds. Which isn't a lot. The 24v takes a lot of weight for a nice clean wave. I run 1800 pounds in a custom enzo sac and my 24v wave is pretty great.

miketev just signed up for this site yesterday. He has same boat in an 05. He had to remove the floor as well PM him he can tell you exactly how to do it.
His boat has no tanks and we LOAD that boat with serious weight. Last time we were out we had 1000# sac surside locker, 1000# on the floor, 400 under rear surfside seat, 400 on top of rear surfside seat, and 1000# in the bow surfside. Rubrail just touching the water at rest.

That boat makes a very nice wave.

If you can afford it the custom sac would be the best way to go. Having bags on the seats and on the floor gets old fast.

Its either 900# OR 1000#. I cant remember if it changed in 04 or 05 from 900 to 1000. My 03 is 900# same basic 4 tank set up as your 04.

That's seems like a lot of ballast! But I guess we will have to try it!!! I've had 12 people in the boat, and still had 6 inches to the rub rail! So yeah, I've checked for power, have none at the pump, but the switch and corresponding plugs all have power up front, I'm going to run a new power lead from switch so that should be the easiest solution to get the pump running. Looking at other pics, I've seen that the rear seat comes out too, gives me an idea of access at least! Thanks for all the good advice, this is truely a great web forum!!

Right off the back of the ballast switches there are inline fuses. You should check these. If the pumps are locked up (pretty common) the will pop the fuse. Replace the fuse and try it. You will need to find out if its the empty pump or the fill pump causing it to blow the fuse. And yes pulling the center rear seat and then the floor is the best way to get at the fill pumps if they are the one causing the fuse to blow.

So i Figured out how to get to the v drive, and the floor over the fuel tank up. It is really easy, pulled all the seat cushions, and there was the v drive access. pulled that, and two bolts the floor comes up. The 4 pumps are on a common manifold, and one of them was actually seized. I replaced the cartridge in it, and it works! Thanks for all the help, and ideas on this forum, everyone really does a good job on here! Next summer can't come fast enough now!!
