Looking for the thread about under floor bow ballast

Does anyone remember the thread about installing a sac in front of the gas tank under the floor? I am thinking about it and I want to see the write up but for the life of me I can't find it. Any help!?

Haven't seen the thread, but if you remove the floorpiece and then the tank you should have access to that space. I wonder if Tige puts foam under there? Some manufacturers do.

Someone on here cut a hole and put a access hatch in and installed a large sac. Their is nothing forward of the gas tank. Just empty space. On my boat that void is pretty darn large.

Why not just remove the fuel tank temporarily, instead of cutting a permanent hole?

Well I would want a way to get at the pumps and bags easily. I would use a nice marine hatch or system. Actually I should put a cooler there!

Are you sure it was here and not on the Centurion forums or something? I don't recall seeing that at all.

I'm pretty sure if you do a search on 20V ballast it should narrow it down. I think the guy was from Spain
              Good luck

I have not seen that either.

I always thought the Tige stringers have big crossmembers not far in front of the gas tank, so you cannot do that.

I seem to recall seeing a schematic of the stringers in the boats...thought it was even on Tige.com, but it must have been on one of the older versions.

Someone on here or wakeworld did this on a tige. Gosh for the life of me I can't find it. When I ran my bow ballast up front I got to look up there. There is nothing up there, just a voided space.

Yeah, my eyes bugged out when I saw how he was towing that thing. Some seriously great "at the ramp" stories just waiting to happen.

I would like to add some extra ballast to my boat as I have jumbo sacs in the lockers, horseshoe sac under the front bow seats, and totally refuse to have sacs and bags laying on the seats and floor. I want all the ballast out of sight. I am using sunami pumps and manually filling and want to go automated.
I was wondering if a sac could be placed under the floor in front of the gas tank on a 2008 22VE??? Any ideas, is that an option. I have connected up with the footers edge for guidance on the automated ballast system hookup, anybody know about this or any threads?? Always looks for tips and guidance! The best techniques are shared, not created.
Thanks, I'm trying to get my wake as big as my buddy's Malibu wakesetter. My wake is deeper and cleaner, but not nearly as steep and big!
