Gonna try. I wanted to at least get the plumbing done tonight in case I wanna go ride this weekend. I do wanna. At least one day. So I might not pull the tank until Sunday and just go and test the new pumps out. And maybe those Jumbo Surf sacs I got yesterday too.

Plumbing done. Just need to hook up the hose to the intake assembly. I'm letting that one set up overnight, just cause I can. I'm not trying to get it out the door by the end of the day or anything. Might give her a shakedown run tomorrow afternoon. If not, Sunday. I'll just run the sacs on the floor and vent them manually until I do the fuel tank. I could theoretically run 1100 lbs per side just to see what it'll do.

Still need to fab up a cover for the wires to the pumps but, I feel I got that pretty square in my mind. It will also act as a support for the seat so that its not resting on the pumps. It dead nuts exact on height right now. I'd like to keep it that way.

Last of the plumbing is wrapped up. Ran the vents today. I like em. I pulled out the old mushroom cleats and recut the hole. That was definitely the hard part. I've done it before so a had a game plan. Got lucky on the bolt holes lining up perfect to the size hole I needed. I hated those mushroom cleats and the vents go perfect.

Hopefully get a float test tomorrow.

Lake test mostly successful. No leaks. Pumps run. Sacs fill and drain. One minor glitch.

My port pump was tripping the breaker. The starboard pump runs perfect on the same exact system. Makes me think I should put some new breakers in. Thoughts?

What size breaker? Are you running them both on a single breaker or each on their own? Does it trip while running or does it trip when you hit the switch and the pump is trying to spin up? One thing I like to do is run the pump(s) in the fill direction for about 3-5 seconds after draining. This get the impeller flipped over and ready for the next fill cycle.

Each pump is on its own 20amp breaker. Its tripping while running for a few minutes.

Thanks for the tip on the implellers. I'll try to make that routine.
