New Z1 owner with novice surf questions

I am a new owner of a 2010 Z1 and would like some help with a good surf set up. My boat has the four factory ballasts. Also, what speed is best? Thanks for the help.

    Surfing Behind a Tige Z1

I also own a 2010 Tige Z1. My daughter has surfed behind it a number of times this Spring; she uses a very small board. 9.5 MPH with TAPS @ 6 or 7; don't forget to turn to the side the person surfs.

Only turn to the side the person is surfing when they are trying to catch back up to the wave, otherwise go straight!

speed will vary based on weight, but anywhere from 10.5 - 12 taps between 4-6. taps at 6-7 makes the wave nasty on the top.

The more weight in the back corner the better, put a little bit up front and on the side, but use SPEED to lengthen the wave NOT weight up front.

      our setup:
      Taps a little over 5.
speed at 11-11.2 (my preference) others surf this same setup at 10.7
      1100# rear locker
350# under seats (fills to about 175#)
      250# up front
and then a 350# on the seat and on the floor depending on how many people are in the boat and how smooth the water is.
