    Power draw

WOuld anyone know what size of fuse is needed for the 800 Tsunami pumps?

Trying to figure out if I should use 16 or 14 gauge wire.

    Cheers!

14ga for each pump is fine. I think they draw 3-4 amps p/pump. Are you fusing the B+ to the switches or fusing each pump individually on the switched side?

If fusing each pump, 7.5-10 amp fuse. If fusing the B+ trunk line, then add up the load for the total number of pumps that could be running at once.

I was thinking of running a 4 or 8 ga to a dist block, and then fused lines from there to each switch. The main power line from battery will have a 25 or 30 amp fuse.

I am not sure what to do with the Johnson pump thought. I think I need a 20 amp fuse for that?

Which battery do I connect to or does it really matter?
