Shouldn't if done right. Did you buy your boat new?

yes, bought the boat brand spankin new.

that answer wasnt very reassuring! haha

are you speaking from experience or just guessing? i cant see how that would ever stand up in the "court of tige" should anything ever go wrong with the hull......they would immediately point out the "non-factory" drilling through the hull voids the warranty...??????

When I drilled for my transom lights my dealer said it would not void my warranty. The reason I asked if you bought it new was because most people don't know you have to pay to transfer the hull warranty.

What breaker did you use and where did you get it?

What integrated sac are you using for the front? Are you draining from one leg of the front sac? How is that working?

Have you noticed any issues with the pumps that you put in front of the transducer?

I supplied the breaker. its a marine rated panel mount.

He is using the W711 bow sac with an 800 GPH pump to drain each leg.

Guess you need to add at least the breaker to my list.

I have had no issues what so ever with the placement of my pumps.

Thanks Mike for answering the other questions!

rmason, I have another question, I have gotten most of my stuff and I am ready to start. I was going to start with the drilling of the thru hulls. I was going to put my vent / drain next to, forward, of the existing bilge thru hull. I just checked that and noticed that it would be in front of the divider to the taps pump. Did you put yours there or behind the existing bilge thru hull?

                        Thanks.

My divider is between the vent and drain line ports, kind of a pain but I think it will work ok

                            Skippa,

I did both sides aft of the divider walls and the starboard side is also aft of the bilge pump thru hull fitting. I could send some pics when I get the boat out soon if you like?

No problem anytime. It definitely cleans it up and you don't have to worry about the sack touching the clamps, Ts, thru hulls and hoses.
