Neither will fill to it full rated capacity, so go with the W711 as its cheaper.

dont they use the 711 straight outta the factory? i wonder how they figure its only 400# installed

my manual sac says its a 440 but they warn that it can reach 550 lbs 100% full...nothing wrong with under rating a bit

Are you set on using a single bag? Two bags will give you more capacity (but obviously add more components, and therefore cost), which for wakeboarding is important on the 24.

I am planning dual bow sacs. One on each side and I think I will use the side sacs. Not very big though.

I'm not over sure. I had an intergrated sac in our 22i and we never had it full to capacity.

Are you planning to try 2 separate bags under the bow seats?

                  Has anyone tried 2??

I had two in my last boat and I am planning on two in my new 24v. I am going to use 2 side sacs. I like weight the bow just on the surf side.

Most 22/24 ft Tige owners do not run bow weight. If they, its not a lot. The dual v's single sac debate has come up a few times in the past couple years, but I do not know if anyone actually experimented with it to see if a single wrap-around had a benefit over a single sac on the surf side. The new Tiges come with dual sacs with the Pro Ballast option. Of all the ones out there, Ragboy has the most wheel time, but dont know if he eve did a comparison by filling each 400# sac half way and then the surf side sac full. I think Duncan is getting his 07 converted to dual 400#s, but dont know the status.

So, for surfing, I dont know if its an advantage.

The two bow sacks are in. Just waiting for the weather to warm up to jump into testing! EDIT -- two W701. Our 09 RZ2 was already plumbed separately on each side for fill and drain. Single vent split to each sack, which should not cause a problem given that outlet is above water (unlike rears).

Informal testing with people bow weight last season showed a definite effect -- off side weight made the wave mushier and appeared to decrease wave height. I do not recall it having much effect on pocket length (which is the main reason for bow weight). I am hoping that side-specific sacks provide the pocket benefit without the mushy off side effect.

Btw, I have a U-shaped bow sack for available for cheap. PM me if interested.
