    Z1 Storage Locker Capacity

I have an 09 Z1 and the storage locker has a sticker in it saying "Do not exceed storage floor capacity of 80 lbs" or something like that. Is it safe to put ballast on top of this?

Also, the floor in mine doesn't seem solid. Is everyone else's somewhat soft/flexible back there?

Its a false floor over the in-floor ballast tank. It allows access to the tank if needed. IMO, its safe to use a ballast sac.

good to know! I'm assuming it's a major undertaking to remove that false floor if you have to work on the ballast?

I sent the following question to Tige:
My question is this: why is there a warning label inside the rear compartment reading "WARNING: do not exceed storage floor capacity of 80 lbs." I was thinking of putting the Fly High Pro X Mastercraft X-2 Rear Sac (which holds 455 lbs.) on each side of the rear compartment and possibly the W711 in the bow. Would there be a problem with me weighting the boat like this?

        Harvey at Tige replied:
"With no ballast in the boat there is foam under the floor panel and you will be ok. If the boat was ordered with ballast there is a tank under the floor that can not hold that much weight."
