HELP! My Rival Download Gate Valve is Bad.

I have a 2005 Tige 24V with a gate valve called a Rival Download. It seems to be model 03D01. I've attached a few pictures. Mine seems to be jammed in the closed position and I'm trying to replace / fix. I can't go any longer without ballast!!!

Is anyone aware of this product and where I may be able to locate a replacement?

They are commonly used in the RV world. You will need to know the inlet/outlet size and make sure its a 12V unit and that should do it. But, these are prone to failure, so the best option is to swap the scoop for a shroom and do away with the electric gate.

I believe the pipes are 1 5/16" on both sides. Can you recomend a replacement?

What is a shroom? Are these electric or manual? What would you recomend here?

Thru-hull mushroom pickup instead of the current forward facing scoop. The scoop forces water into the system when the boat is under way, hence the need for the gate-valve to close the system off when not filling.

The mushroom will allow for filling under way, but not unwanted forced filling.

For a replacement gate-valve, check some RV/motorhome supply places. I dont use them so I dont know of one off hand.

And of course you'll need to at a minimum add some check valves, otherwise your bags will passively drain throughout the course of the day.

I found a replacement at Drain Masters. It's an RV part. Identicle to the Rival I had. It's installed and works like a charm!
