NEW Z1 and I need Ballast HELP!!!

Ok, I just bought a new 2011 Z1 and I absolutely must say it is freaking sick. I can't wait until this summer. It is my first ever wakeboard boat.

Ok to the point. My Z1 only came with the factory base ballast. I am wanting to plumb in sacs like it would come from the factory with the surf package. Please give me recommondations, how to's, or any help is really appreciated. My dealership is telling me to buy Fly High Pro X V-drive sacs and then plumb them in by pullong the overflow hose, piping it into the sac and getting an additional hose and fitting to pipe the overflow from the back after it fills up. ???? Thanks.

Congrats, and post some pics up when you get a chance!

What is your goal with the additional ballast? This will determine what size sacs you go with, i.e a standard sac like the W701 V-drive set, a pair of W705 750 lb Original Fat Sac, a couple of W719 1K Jumbo Surf sacs, or a custom surf sac. If you want to add rear weight for wakeboarding, you WILL need to add to the front.......the Z1 likes a lot of bow weight.

It's not a major operation to tie into the factory system. The only real down side is the fill and drain time. If you want to fill and drain the supplemental sacs in a reasonable amount of time. adding in their own pump(s) is easy and can be relatively inexpensive, depending on what type of pump you choose. If fill/drain time is not a high priority, then it's a simple mod.

let me know if I can help in any way.
