Questions on Pro v. Surf Ballast in RZ2

The difference between the pro and surf systems is the front sacs -- pro has 2 separate 400# sacs and surf has 1 400# u-shaped sac.

Can anyone tell me how much more storage space the pro system takes up in the RZ2? I've seen the surf system in person (empty), and it looks like the sac extends back to around the ends of the bottom seat cushions in the bow. I've been told the pro sacs extend back further into the space under the dash/reclined cushion in the bow, taking away much of that storage space. Anyone happen to have any pics?

Also, how much of a difference does the pro system make for surfing on the RZ2? I know ragboy says the RZ2 likes weight in the front, but is it important that the weight is all on one side in the front as opposed to in a u-shape sac wrapped arouund the bow?

    Thanks.

I know a work around for the non-pro bow sack is to fill the surf side, induce a list, and put a little water in the bow sack, it will mostly fill the surf side. From what I've read and tried on my RZ2 is that weight in the rear surf corner is key. Weight in the bow helps lengthen the pocket a bit and that weight can be and probably will be people.

I do not have a pic, but yes, the 400# Pro bow sacs do extend into the mid-ship storage a bit.

Wait, I may have one of the starboard mid-ship storage, let me search!

Well, it's not the best angle as I was actually taking a pic of the 2nd sub I just installed, but the carpeted edge at the bottem of the pic is the top corner of the ballast sac enclosure. It only takes up about 8" if I remember.

I JUST LOOKED AT THESE BOATS THIS PAST WEEKEND. i was told by the factory rep they take up the framed in lower portion of the mid storage compartments about 6 to 8" like mike said. you still have most of your storage left. i wouldn't think it would help surfing but ragboy would know. i don't surf,i just wakeboard.
I do all my own stunt work. hey ya'll watch dis.
