Z1 Surf Ballast

This may have already been discussed, but I checked out the new brochure for the 2011 Tige and on page 15 of the brochure is a picture of a Z1 with a killer wake. Does anyone know what the weight was and how it was laid out? Speed and taps?? I get a really good wake, but I don't believe it is that AWESOME!!

That boat was delivered to Texas Tige Marine in Conroe, TX to have a "special" ballast system installed. Bring your boat by and you too can have a wake just like the one pictured.

heres my approach to ballast... put as much water weight as you can fit and then play with the taps and speed untill it looks long enough.....then bump the speed up a bit

idk what the numbers are from that boat, but the key to a nice wave is weight...and lots of it and speed. lots of people i see surfing are going way too slow.

So Stevo, what you are saying is that you want mo money from me You saw my gangsta lean at the reunion. I think I may just need to work on the speed and taps.

You know how it works Kvon. You want the best your going to have to bring it to the best- Texas Tigra. LOL! I'll get out on the boat with you one of these days and we'll get it dialed in. That shot in the catalog is pretty sweet!!! Tell the family we said hi.
