Ballast pump connections

Just a thought for those who are working on auto ballast system and enjoy sub ZERO temps in the winter. We remove our ballast bags for the winter, and because we had a pump connected straight to the bag I used these connectors when I wired the pumps. All we had to do was disconnect the hose and un-plug the pump which made it real easy to pull the bag out. The cost was about $2 ea

A quick disconnect is a nice option for the pump wiring. The other option would be to leave the pump in the boat so you don't have to disconnect the wiring and hose. Instead just pop off a quick connect like all of the other connections and pull the bag out. Makes the bag less bulky too, which is nice.
