    Ballast filling automatically

I just went out on my new 2009 RZ4 and I quickly realized that the right rear ballast tank is filling automatically even when the switch is off. Any ideas what is going on? I have an appointment with my dealer tuesday, but wondered if I could address it from home. Thanks

I had the same problem in my 22VE.

They told me that tige hadnt taken the fill pipe up far enough before fitting it to the tank.

The dealer ran a new pipe fromt the pump, up to the gunnel and back to that tank and problem solved.

The fill hose needs to be looped up higher then the tank in a way as to make an upside down drain-trap, or add a vented-loop to the hose. Should be an easy fix for your dealer

Thanks again for your input. When the tank is full it should then either stop or just leak out the empty port right?
