2014 Z1 - Port stern side ballast bag draining automatically

The port-stern bag fills just fine, but then starts to drain automatically. The display showed that it was 100% full, but when I looked in the locker the bag was empty. This seems to only happen with that one bag.

Any suggestions to troubleshoot?

It is likely draining out of the fill line. Follow the hose after the pump and look for a check valve, it has likely gone bad.

Are check valves universal, or is there a specific one for my ballast system or ballast bag? Is there a way to test the valve to see if it's bad or do you just suggest replacing it and see if that fixes the problem? Is there a way to test it out of the water, or do I just need to wait until my next lake trip? Sorry, I'm a novice to this.
