    Fly High Jumbo 1100lbs

Has anybody ever tried to fit one of these in a 22V? I'm going to try because I just ordered one!

I would have advised you not too. I have 750's in each of my lockers in my 22ve and I can't even get them to fill up all the way.

I would suggest you contact chpthril and get a custom surf sac from him.

Like Wakerider3989, I have used a W707 (750 lbs. - 50 x 20 x 20) in the rear compartment. The sac does not fill up completely but does fill most of the way. I guesstimate ~600 lbs. or more.

The W719 (1100 lbs.) is 50 x 24 x 24 in size. Measure your compartment and determine how well it will work. I've got one one the way as well to test with and will report back the results.

One note about the custom sacs for anyone with a 2010 reading this is that the cooler is now behind the driver's seat and that would block an Enzo style sac from going completely under the seats.

You will still get more water in the jumbo. The length of the 2 are the same. Your length is what restricts you but the height of the jumbo at 24" should still fit and give that much more ballast. Stick with what you have.

Ok here is the math. My 22v locker is about 40" in length. Adding the the extra 4 " to the top and side of the bag would net almost 270 lbs over the the smaller bag. 50 x 20 x 20 = 20000 cu in which is 86.5 gal at 8.2 lbs/gal
709lbs but we have subtract almost 10 inches of the bag for a total of appx 570 lbs. With jumbo you will get (40 x 24 x 24)/231 x 8.2 = appx 820 lbs.

For the extra weight go big

              One U.S. gal = 231 cubic inches.
              One gal = 8.2 lbs

Give or take a few pounds

Nice! I wasn't sure of the dimensions of the compartment and didn't realize that the length of the bag was the restriction. I think it will work too.

I definitely see what your saying KonaKing, but at the same time what restricts mine is the height under the seats. The bag definitely fills out its width and height in the locker but the portion that is under the seats prevents it from filling to its max capacity. Do you really think you could get an additional 270 lbs? Let me know how the test run goes cause if it really is that big of a difference, I see a new item on my summer wish list!

Not yet, but I can tell you that it's quite a bit bigger then the compatment. It will probably net you about 800 lbs.

I guess it's too late, but i could knock that price in the dirt, that's MSRP!

I may need to get one this year as I removed my hard tanks last fall and only have the 705 bags back there.

But I am doing more skiing than surfing these days
