    Bow storage ballast

Anybody ever made a custom sac that would go in your front bow storage? This would be great as it wouldn't take up floor space. Or maybe even sacs that fit in the side slots of the boat?

Look at the W711 integrated bow sac.

Both chpthril and spbfan are dealers and can order it for you.

The W711 is probably the best bet. Even though it's such a huge sac, bigger then most bows, it's such a popular sac that the price is reasonable in comparison to the shape and size. The other possibility would be to do 2 small sacs, one in each side. Something like the W703 side sac set. 12x12x48 and I think they hold 250 each. Fly High may be willing to do a custom "U" shaped sac, but I feel it would be $300+ sac.

hmmm... I am just curious... at some point if I get good enough at boarding with what I got I might add some ballast and I am trying to figure out where I can put sacs so I don't have to crawl over anything because I think thats kind of...well not my style (no offense to people who do that)

I wonder if I could shove a pair of w705's on each side storage area. You know the side storage on each side of the DD.... NOT the floor but in those little cubby holes. Would the w705s lay on their sides? It might not fill all the way up but it would conform a little bit right?

At some point it becomes more of a hassle to try and hide the sacs than it is worth. Due to the room that ballast takes up, I simply don't wakeboard or surf with more than 6 or 7 people in the boat. If you are serious about wakeboarding or surfing and need a bigger wake, you will realize that the more people there are in the boat, the more you have to shift them around to get the wake just right. I have a 1000 lb triangle sac for the bow, and if I know people, girls more often than not, are going to be on the boat and wanting to sit in the bow, I just choose not to ride because I know I won't be happy with the wake. If you want more wake specifically to advance your riding, don't consider hiding the sacs when selecting the right option.

For surfing I have found you need no wait in the bow of a Tige cause of the taps. You get huge push and a nice clean face to ride. Lots of weight in the back corners though!!

Robert, is your preferred set up stated for wake boarding or for wake surfing?
