Ross, Ragboy has a thread on here ( Link Here) where he tested CO levels with and without the FAE. It's not necessary to wakesurf, but does it does significantly lower the CO levels both inside and right behind the boat. A side benifit is that it significantly reduces engine noise.

Did some more experimenting on the weekend. Set the boat up as follows:
Back & front factory fitted port full.
540lbs sack in back port compartment on top of factory fitted tank.
2/3 Full 350lbs sack in bow of boat.
4 Adults on port side seat (Total +-500lbs)
      Played with speed betwean 10-13Mph.
      Played with taps betwean 1 - 7.
Still did not end up with a long enough pocket.
The surfable pocket is +- 12ft.
I could ride easily in the spot directly behind the boat, but as soon as I stalled to move back in the pocket I struggled to stay on the wave. (Had to pump like crazy to move slowly forward & could not generate good speed to try manouvres)
Not sure if it's the wave or my technique.
      Any thoughts? Thanks Ross.
