2000 21i ballast setup

Here are some pictures from last wkend. I have some pictures of JLoflin420 surfing but I haven't talked to him about posting them yet. I will clear is w/ him before I post his picture.

1st picture is our speed, 11-11.2 mph seem to be best. There are 2 other pictures of the sac arrangement. The wake was high and fairly long. You could be back about 20-25' from the boat and still catch back up. It was really fun.

The nice thing about this setup is we emptied the (2) 400# sacs on the side and left the 2 just in the back and the wakeboarding wake was great also. I'm not very good so it was great for me.

I have a 750 in my rear locker but couldn't quite get a rideable wave. I have just ordered the 370 which will sit under the back seat. I need to play with the setup to get the pocket longer (bow weight I think). Looking forward to seeing the rest of the pics. Take a look at the surf board on my tower....I think we have the same board. Is yours an IS 'Squirt'?

Yes, that is JLoflin's board. I really like it. I hope to get one for Christmas.

I would look into a set of v-drive (400#) sacs. You buy them as a set. You could use one up front and another in the rear on the side you surf from. I think that would set you up good. Before w/ my old setup the wake was tall (not as tall as now) but no lenght. W/ the weight up front it helped to make the wake longer. We would be surfing right ontop of the deck and now you are about 10' off the boat and more. Hope this helps.
