Well, I don't think I have the biggest, I have seen bigger. But we have worked hard to make it the best we can. Best is a tough thing to define, so I will try to give my criteria for what I was shooting for. There are a lot of great pictures above of wakes, love to see them. I am going to point out a couple of things I learned along the way, and may point at some pictures of your wakes, but don't take offense, not trying to dis anybodys wake. Also, where the camera is and the perspective, size of lens, has a ton to do with it.

This is nice, but there isn't much of a lip, and you can see that cut from the deck along the edge.

You can really see it here, and you have a nice smooth wake, then you hit that cut and then the wake has all the turbulence in it, and the lip is flattened.

When RJ started progressing, I realized his ability to get air was not so much how BIG I could get the wake, but how clean of a wake I could give him, and if I could give him a nice well defined lip to launch from. It really makes a big difference. Surfdad really helped me understand this, from his posts, and just talking to him in person. I just followed his advice. Here are a couple of good pictures, that show an angle where you can see the clean transition up the wave, with a nice lip to launch from. Just in front of the curl, there is no STEP or double lip.

He doesn't go near as high as james or chase, but he is working on it. He is starting to get more consistent.

And of the regular side. Don't really have a long shot.

Always helps to get a cute girl in the shot, with a knee down to make it look bigger!

This is all with NO sacs on seats, and NO lead or pellets or anything. Just the custom enzo sacs on each side, getting about ~1000 lbs on each side/corner. Fully plumbed and automated. No weight up front, taps at 6, and 11mph. The tige hull makes a great wake, I just had to get the deck out of the way to unlock its full potential. All I did was follow surfdad's and dennis horton's advice to get the wake, it just wasn't working as expected until I swapped out the deck.

22ve. About 600 rear locker 1000 rear corner of seat. No pics but liked the wake better when the ballast is centered in the boat to get more of the rocker hull deeper in the water.

I have a similar hull to Surfdad, he has a 23V and I have an older 2300V. I don't know how he weights his, but on mine, I have about 1000 lbs in rear locker, 650 lbs in front, taps at about 3.5.

thanks ragboy. Next season, or possible around december when i get to go home for winter break, ill see what i can come up with building another deck.
can you buy the mounts from tige? id rather not take them off the original deck

                  MT?
what setup is your friend running?

I use about 200#'s under the back seat and (2) 400#'s sacs on the side of the engine cover. My wake is pretty good, but that wake looks awesome. Very high.

okay this is going to be long winded and i might not get it exactly right: two 400s under the rear seat, a 600 and a 200 on the rear seat, a 750 in the walkthrough, 300 up front, and another 400 in the walkway on the side being ridden on... plus a couple people in the boat... its a ton of weight and the boat is def. a lot more sluggish

WOW, that is a lot of weight. How does he not take water over the bow. My nose is only 6-9" off the water w/out weight in the front.
                      Thanks for the info.

It takes a lot to sink his boat. Our older boats don't take quite as much weight. On mine, my optimal surf wake usually takes about 400 in the rear locker, 500-600 on the seat in the cockpit (either peeps or sack which we strap to the tower) and another 200-300 up front on the surf side. If we're surfing regular side (port) we need some additional weight to counter-balance the driver. So right around 1000 lbs total on the one side with about 25-30% of that weight up front. We're generally surfing at about 10.5-11.2 Mph.

It is at Bear Lake. The lake is half in Utah and the other half is in Idaho. There are lime deposits in the water that give it a Mediterranean look. It's a fun lake but is fairly cold water, unless it is Aug or Sep...
