You can really see it here, and you have a nice smooth wake, then you hit that cut and then the wake has all the turbulence in it, and the lip is flattened.

When RJ started progressing, I realized his ability to get air was not so much how BIG I could get the wake, but how clean of a wake I could give him, and if I could give him a nice well defined lip to launch from. It really makes a big difference. Surfdad really helped me understand this, from his posts, and just talking to him in person. I just followed his advice. Here are a couple of good pictures, that show an angle where you can see the clean transition up the wave, with a nice lip to launch from. Just in front of the curl, there is no STEP or double lip.

He doesn't go near as high as james or chase, but he is working on it. He is starting to get more consistent.

And of the regular side. Don't really have a long shot.

Always helps to get a cute girl in the shot, with a knee down to make it look bigger!
This is all with NO sacs on seats, and NO lead or pellets or anything. Just the custom enzo sacs on each side, getting about ~1000 lbs on each side/corner. Fully plumbed and automated. No weight up front, taps at 6, and 11mph. The tige hull makes a great wake, I just had to get the deck out of the way to unlock its full potential. All I did was follow surfdad's and dennis horton's advice to get the wake, it just wasn't working as expected until I swapped out the deck.
