    Wakesurf wave

I wanna see who's got the biggest surf wave on the forum, i need something to strive for! We have a #350 on each side of the motor, and i think a #250 up front. In this picture theres 3 guys all on the surfside and 3 duffle bags of rocks and 3 5gal buckets of rocks (my quick ballast solution).
    What do you guys think?

Heres with just the ballast, no rocks, and 8 people on the side.

    Think we can get bigger??

ragboy has the best wave! He has also spent a lot of hours(and money) on R&D to obtain it! He's got the formula and if you want the perfect wave, you can use his new platform and the right weight and you will have it!

Cruiser Yacht 520 - 48K of pure ballast.

Next best would be Xpjim's 24V with about 1400lb's in the rear.

In your pick, you got a mile long pocket, but not a huge wake, not that that's a bad thing. Try both 350's stacked in the rear locker on the surf side, and the 250 either in the seat or in the floor on the surf side. Then play with speed and TAPS. This should shorten the pocket some and increase the height. And yes, you need something better then rocks

Wow, add more weight to the back would definitely help increase the height as Chpthril said.

TAPS and speed will almost always change when ballast (water and peeps) change, so try all the different setting till the wake looks the best. I always found it easier to dial the wake in with no rider.

Ok, problem is keeping my dad off the wave to dial it in. Only pictures i have of the wave with no rider is when hes not out there with us haha, hes a surf-a-holic. Cant look at the wave and not be on it! But were hitting the water tomorrow and we'll get it all tuned up!

If i go less taps, should i increase speed, any guidlines i should go buy, or just start trying things!?

Speed increases pocket length but shortens the wave height. TAPS increase will cleanup/make the wave taller as will more weight in the corner. On my boat we run 2 v-drive sacs in the corner for optimum height and then a 200-250lb on the seat to help with the length (brings the middle of the boat down some).

In this pic we have 2 v-drive sacs in the corner and 1 200-250lb sac on the seat, the driver and 1 person. There were only 3 of us total this day. Speed 11.0 mph, taps between 6-7.
