hey whats up. it's been a real long time since i've really jumped on the site and done anything but check on the little things goin on. just like everyone i've been super busy with work, moving into my own place for school and racing moto and boarding. so i havnt taken the time to say anything on here in a while. so to get to my ballast post and why i finally have time to do it rite. i never wanted to do it because i always had the boat going. usually 3 times a week so i never wanted to take on this project and miss a couple days of riding. so what did it take to give me time you ask? well a few weeks back i was out and i hyperextended my knee, wich broke my fibia!!!??? so i can no longer ride for most of the summer. now i have time becuase the family only uses the boat on the weekends.
so i usually ride with 1400 pounds when im with the family. when im out with friends i'll through my 700 pound sack in the middle of the floor wich puts it around 2200 pounds or so.
as the boat is now i have around 900 pounds in my back lockers and 600 pounds of 6 gallon water jugs in my front lockers. so im always dragging pumps around and it takes to much time to ever mess with the water jugs so i always just leave them full. i never empty them.
so im going to use 6, 800, gph tsunamis for my system. it's going to be similar to everyone elses on here. the only real difference is what im going to plumb with. my family owns a company that does radiant heat, and snowmelt systems, and also plumbing. we use a pex tubing for our systems. we always have some leftover lenghts in the shop so i'll be doing most of it in 1" pex tubing. i'll still use a more flexible rubber tube to attach to my tanks for more flex. but everything else will be red pex. for the tanks im going to keep the ones i allready have in my rear lockers, but im wanting to get two of the mastercraft x-2 square shaped fly high sacks for the front. i really want to gat rid of those damn plastic jugs! and then i'll still keep my 700 for surfing and when im out with friends that don mind a bag taking up the floor.
im really stoked to finally be able to flip a switch to get my wake poppin! sorry for this bieng such a long post but like i said i've got some time on my hands and im really stoked about this. i didnt go into every detail but most of you get the idea. but i am doing a couple things different. let me know if your interested in any of it. also it would be cool if you shared any of your little ideas thanks.
see ya
