    How the heck ??

Hey guys; I just added a second pump to my enzo sacs for faster fill up. My question is: How the heck do you get that damn 3/4" hose over a 3/4" barb?? That may sound stupid, but I'm telling ya, I pushed, I twisted, I even greased, but cant get that thing past the second ring. They must use some sort of press at the factory when they do it.
    Any suggestions??

Do you have the right hose? is it 3/4" OD or 3/4" ID? (as in inner and outer dimension.

Hey Dog, Its the same hose, just re- routed, and the same fitting re-located. I had to cut the hose off, so the "Fresh" end has not been streached out. So in a nut shell: Original hose, original barbed fitting, just a freshly cut end.

Use a hair dryer to heat up the tubing

x3, that should do the trick.

1 more for hairdryer or heat gun. I'd rather be stretching to fit over, then cranking down on a clamp to seal it

Thanks for the suggestions. I went home last night and broke out my heat gun. It only took about a 5 second blast to soften up the tubing to EASILY slide it all the way over the barbed fitting. As it cooled, it shrank back to its original diameter, forming a very tight fit. I addded a hose clamp anyway.
                    thanks for the idea..
