Water Sports Helmet

Any recommendations and which style? I've never bought a helmet for wakeboarding...

I like the Dark Helmet model:



It's a little large, but has plenty of cushioning foam...

It's not the speed its the height and what you hit. Motorcycle racers crash at 100+ MPH and are generally fine until they hit something. Ski jumpers definitely wear helmets.

My 11yr took a wakeboard to the head 2 days ago..luckily it all turned out well. Have a new helmet on the way. I always wear one hydrofoiling and can say it has saved me a ruptured ear drum at least once.

I am still doing physical therapy as a part of recovery from a majorwakeboarding injury last September 5th. Initial hospitalization was 20 days, 10 surgeries, with 2 additional stays and one more surgery. I was out of work for 3 months. So I have a little different perspective on safety now. Some time I'll share details and more info for general knowledge and possible prevention for others.

This is all done. If you have not received an email from me with a copy of an invoice that has PAID stamped on it your helmet will not be ordered. I am placing the order on MONDAY we have over the weekend to get the order filled and processed if you have not done so already.
