2007 Tige v22 will not take off sometimes have to shut off to reset

when i hit it to pull skier it will not go,it engages but wont rev up have to shut if off and then i will go. Also hard to steer one direction any suggetions

Throttle could be the potentiometer (spelling?) in the throttle, as for the heavy turning this is standard depends on the prop rotation direction turns easy with the prop and more difficult to turn away from the prop rotation but should still be able to do it with 1 finger. IF its really an issue for you then it may be time for a new steering cable, or may need to grease the rudder box.
