Fouling spark plugs

I bought my 04 21i last fall. It's been fouling plugs and missing at lower speeds. I have replaced the plugs but it still does the same thing. I called a shop to schedule an appointment and they told me to replace the plugs with original parts, that you can't cross reference at a local parts store. Has anyone had this issue?

Ac delco spark plug mr43LTS or NGK BPR6EFS for all engines except the 6.0. Fouling plugs is due to over-fueling which could also be caused by weak spark. Really tough to diagnose without an engine computer.

Have you replaced your distributor cap and rotor?
There seems to be many issues with this particular unit. I believe there is a venting issue and a crossfire issue (not sure if one causes the other) I just had mine cause me tons of grief as it looked ok visually.
