I have a 2013 rz2 I keep in our driveway. Slopped driveway, bow is downhill. On hot days gas will flow out of the vent line. It was so bad the other day the decals started coming off. I can hear the pressure when I twist off the gas cap. Is this a vent line problem? Any ideas?

How full do you keep the tank? Gas can and will expand when its hot outside and will purge out of the vent. As a precaution, its recommended to not fill the tank past 90%.Mikes Liquid Audio: Knowledge Experience Customer Service you can trust-KICKER WetSounds ACME props FlyHigh Custom Ballast Clarion LiquidLumens LEDs Roswell Wave Deflector And More

Open up your floor and see where the vent is. Here is my tank and the vent line is in the aft position. There are additional fittings so check your tank to see if your vent is near the forward part of your tank. If it looks like mine then I would follow the vent line and make sure there aren't any loops or low spots for fuel to accumulate and sit and wait for pressure to flush that fuel out of the vent line.

Makes me wonder if the vent is towards the front of the tank. I would first try to get the bow higher. If that doesn't work may be something that needs to be looked at. Do you have a early 13 with a screw type cap or a later boat with the flip up style?

When I added the racor lg100 to my vent line, I noticed it allows up to 2.4 psi for thermal expansion. I have no idea is that's a lot or not. I haven't had any gas come out since adding it but I rarely store with more than 3/4 of a tank. I did have gas come out the vent with the Atwood ball check valve on the vent.
