2006 22ve Alarm buzzer is going off and putting the boat in limp mode. We took it in to the dealer and the code said it was something to do with the throttle, so the mechanic found a wire loose and fixed it. He ran it for about a half hour and it was all good. We went out to the lake this last weekend and the boat was fine for about an hour then the alarm went off again. Could it be the different voltage between the two batteries? I'm not sure what to do!!!! I have checked all the fluids, put a new battery in it, checked the knock sensor. Any Ideas????

A few random ideas that could cause this...
You may be over heating at idle because of a partial/intermitant blockage but when at higher rpm's the water flow is enough. How old is the impeller? Have you cleaned your sea strainer and checked the water pick up for debris? Also check the transmission cooler for blockage. The trans over heats first and is not reflected by the engine temp gauge.
Is the belt properly tightened?
Thermostat?
Bad temp sensor somewhere?
Some of the smart guys on here will have a better answer

There were some threads on here about adjusting the electrical connections on the throttle itself. Sometime you could adjust it, sometimes the part needs replacing, someone else will know the exact name of the part but it could be that.2009 RZ2, PCM 343, MLA Surf Ballast, Premium Sound.
