yea, your right I've seen a pair for a bill with digital read outs. The thing is I want to replace them for super cheap and later take the plunge on new gear.

You can use most of the new ones, they just wont read out anything on the LCD screen. You can then move them to your new system and save yourself from wasting money on "old" ones now.
